In June, UEFA decided to exclude the Slovak DAC from the Conference League for the 2025/26 season. The reason is that the owner of this club is also the owner of the Hungarian "Diósgyőr".

And now it has become known that Slovakia will not lose its representative in the European cups: UEFA allowed DAC to be replaced in the Conference League by another Slovak club, which is " Košice".
Thus, the main football authority in Europe demonstrated double standards, as last year, when " Dnipro-1" withdrew from all tournaments, Ukraine appealed to UEFA with a request to replace this club in the European cups with another representative, but was refused.
