Al-Nasr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, arrives this weekend (on Sunday, July 20) in the Austrian town of Saalfelden for a summer training camp. The camp will last until August 4 under the guidance of new coach Jorge Jesus.
Cristiano RonaldoAccording to RMC Sport, the arrival of the Saudi club forced German club Hannover 96 to change its usual plans, which had been agreed upon earlier. The team from the German Second Bundesliga usually stayed at a four-star hotel in the city, but this year, due to the presence of Al-Nasr, it decided to forgo its usual training ground. Instead, Hannover 96 will move its base to the sports complex of the local lyceum, where it will prepare for the season.
The arrival of the Portuguese star in the town of 16,000 residents has also drawn heightened attention to the player's personal safety. Local media report that at least 16 guards have been hired to ensure his privacy and protect him from the "onslaught" of curious fans.
Regarding the change of training location, Hannover's coach Christian Titz assured that adapting to this special situation would not be an obstacle: "It's not a problem. The conditions are wonderful. The field is in very, very good condition," Titz commented.
