According to Sport Arena, «Metalist 1925» plans to hold its home matches in the new season in Zhytomyr.

Recall that previously the Kharkiv team played at the «Lviv Bereh» stadium. However, at the end of the 2024/2025 season, the Kyiv club terminated the agreement with «Metalist 1925» after a scandal. «Lviv Bereh» was outraged by the actions of the youth players from Kharkiv, who in the stands shouted offensive phrases towards the Kyiv club in a match for a place in the elite division.
«Metalist 1925» returned to the UPL based on the results of the 2024/2025 season. The team earned a spot in the Premier League thanks to two victories in the playoffs against «Lviv Bereh» (1:0 and 1:0). The new Ukrainian championship will begin for the Kharkiv team on August 4 with a home match against «Obolon».
