The Italian «Roma» has solved the task of strengthening its squad with a direct competitor for its Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik. The “Wolves” have reached an agreement with the English “Brighton” for the loan of this club’s forward Evan Ferguson with an option to buy, reports Sky Sport Italia.
Evan Ferguson, Getty ImagesThe negotiations have been ongoing for some time because the parties were unable to agree on a proposal of 30 million euros and the “Seagulls’” demand, which is closer to 40 million euros. The final amount between the loan and the option to buy at the end of the season will be from 35 to 40 million euros. Now “Roma” needs to settle the personal terms of the contract with the forward of the Ireland national team.
Furthermore, Ferguson spent the last six months on loan at “West Ham,” but has been part of the “Brighton” squad since 2021.
