Barcelona leader Lamine Yamal has changed his playing number ahead of the new season, reports the press service of the Catalan club.

After signing a new contract with the player, which runs until 2031, Barcelona president Joan Laporta presented Yamal with a jersey featuring the number 10. Previously, the midfielder wore number 19.

It should be noted that for the blaugrana, the number 10 is iconic, as it was previously worn by Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Romário, and Diego Maradona.
