Igor Surkis referred to Pashko as the ‘new Tsyhankov’. Pashko had a reddish hair shade, played a similar position, and had a playing style similar to the current winger of ‘Girona’. But so far, it hasn’t worked out.
In Dynamo, the players born in 2006 had a fantastic attacking trio — Kalyn and Pashko on the flanks, and Ponomarenko at the forefront. For now, some hope remains for the latter.
After the start of the war, many players from the Dynamo system found themselves abroad. Pashko was no exception. The native of Kharkiv ended up in Spain. I’m afraid to mistake the names of the clubs he was with, but they were not top teams. Dynamo made significant efforts to bring back its talents. Pashko received very good personal conditions. I heard amounts in the range of 120−250 thousand hryvnias per month for a player aged 16−17 at that time.
If we are comparing Pashko, it should not be with Tsyhankov, but with Gio Tsitaishvili, who at 18 received a fantastic contract, which became the beginning of the end. Every year, new clubs and nowhere is there stability. A similar story exists with Samba Diallo...
Last summer, Pashko went to training camps with the senior team of Dynamo. He got injured there and practically missed the first part of the season. He did not play well for “Dynamo U-19”. More for the second team U-19. In winter, he went for a trial with “Dynamo” (Tbilisi). In the spring part, he was a player of deep rotation in Igor Kostiuk’s team.
Pashko is a very talented football player, but his character, the ability to overcome difficulties, and determination leave much to be desired....,” wrote Tyshchenko on his Telegram channel.
