Today’s date brought the world several well-known people who closely linked their lives with football:
Maxim DyachukMaxim Dyachuk (2003) — Ukrainian defender of Kyiv’s “Dynamo”, currently on loan with Gdansk’s “Lechia”. He played for “Nyva” and “Skala” in the Youth Football League from 2016 to 2019. In spring 2019, he joined “Dynamo”. He has been called up to youth teams of Ukraine at various age categories.
Maxim Bragaru (2002) — Ukrainian footballer, midfielder of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” and the Ukraine U19 team. Maxim was born in the Odessa region, in the city of Reni, and took his first steps in football at Odessa’s DUSSH-11. Since the 2021/2022 season, he has played for “Chornomorets” in the Premier League, catching the attention of many clubs due to his performances. After three full seasons with the “sailors”, the footballer signed a contract with “Dynamo” in the summer of 2024.
Viktor Chanov (1959−2017) — former Soviet footballer who played as a goalkeeper. A trainee of Donetsk’s “Shakhtar”, but he spent his best football years at Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. Three-time champion and five-time winner of the USSR Cup. Winner of the 1986 Cup Winners’ Cup. He played 21 matches for the USSR national team, conceding 8 goals.
Andriy Voronin (1979) — former Ukrainian footballer who played as a forward. Andriy’s last club was Moscow’s “Dynamo”. A trainee of Odessa’s “Chornomorets”. He played for such renowned clubs as “Liverpool”, “Bayer”, “Borussia” (M), “Hertha”. Participant of the UEFA Euro 2012 and FIFA World Cup 2006. He played 74 matches for the Ukraine national team, scoring 8 goals.
