Central defender of the Dynamo Christian Bilovar spoke about his relationship with the club president and his father-in-law Igor Surkis.
Christian Bilovar— How do you and Igor Surkis separate the roles of father-in-law and president? Have you discussed this moment? How much extra pressure does it bring when you are not only a player for Dynamo but also a family member?
— I can’t say that we have discussed this topic because only those who do not understand something need to talk about it. And we are all intelligent people. When I am in the team’s location, on the training base of Dynamo, Igor Mykhailovych is as much a president to me as he is to every player on the team.
But when I am outside the team’s location, he is my father-in-law. I will say this to get more likes under this interview — my beloved father-in-law, with whom I discuss how to raise his grandson, how to love his daughter, whom I love very much, how to treat her, and so on.
I can only talk about football with Igor Mykhailovych in relation to the Champions League matches. As for my game and the game of Dynamo Kyiv, Igor Mykhailovych, as I know, has a very good relationship with our head coach. So he has someone to discuss Dynamo’s games with.
