FC “Dynamo” Kyiv and 1+1 media made the dream of 11-year-old Nazar Shulha come true, a protégé of the “Children of Heroes” foundation and a great fan of FC “Dynamo” (Kyiv), who became the hero of the video presentation of the club’s new kit within the framework of the social project “Make a Wish”.

Football, as the biggest passion, emerged for the boy after a terrible loss — his father’s death. Ivan Shulha worked in television for a long time and was a well-known media figure, but on the first day of the full-scale invasion, he decided to go to the military enlistment office after his last broadcast. Unfortunately, on June 14, 2023, he was killed during an artillery shelling in Donetsk region.
“Nazar started playing for hours, organizing tournaments at home, watching all the matches and videos, learning about all the footballers. It’s a pity that my husband will not see this, how our son is happy, how his dream is coming true. But I am happy for him,” said Nazar’s mother Anastasia.
“From the first seconds, it was clear that he is very positive and a true fan” — Oleksandr Karavaev said — “This story is worth a lot, emotions are the most important for children. If we have the opportunity to give them — we will do it. I am sure this will stay with him for a lifetime. And for us, this is the least we can do. Goals and dreams must always be there, and then you will know what to strive for”.
As a memory of the special meeting, Nazar received not only valuable advice, but also a personalized jersey from FC “Dynamo”, adding:
“Today Andriy Yarmolenko taught me to juggle the ball, and I really liked playing with “Dynamo”. They have always had a lot of victories, and I will continue to support them!”
