Former Fiorentina defender Celeste Pin has died at the age of 65.
According to preliminary data, he took his own life in his home in Florence, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport. A relative raised the alarm after being unable to contact him for a long time. Medical and police teams arrived promptly at the scene.

Pin played for the Florentine club from 1982 to 1991. In the 1989/90 season, he led the team to the final of the UEFA Cup, where the Florentines lost to "Juventus." In 2022, the former footballer was inducted into the Fiorentina Hall of Fame.
Pin was also a player for "Perugia," "Verona," and "Siena." He played for the Italian youth national team, with which he finished in third place at the European Championship in 1984.
