Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Petrysenko, a graduate of Kyiv’s Dynamo, has joined the Croatian club Osijek.

Petrysenko is well-known to fans of the Croatian league: he previously played for Istra 1961, where he established himself as a reliable defensive midfielder. His transfer to Osijek came as a surprise, as the player was being courted by Hajduk and Rijeka.
The management of Osijek hopes that Petrysenko’s experience and versatility will help the team strengthen its position in the fight for a European Cup spot in the new season.
