The midfielder of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Andriy Yarmolenko participated in the pre-match press conference ahead of the second qualifying round match of the Champions League against Maltese Hamrun Spartans, which took place on Monday in Lublin.
— You recently said that this will be your last season as a professional player. But no one wants you to end your career...
— I have already said that this is my last season. I do not retract what I said. Therefore, at this moment, that is how it is.
For me, the most important thing now is to give my all so that our team plays in the main stage of the Champions League, becomes the champion of Ukraine again, and wins the Cup of Ukraine. For now, we are talking about our game, about the team, and we will talk about me at the end of the season.

— For a team like Kyiv’s Dynamo, it is always important to show quality play and achieve results. This we will strive to do tomorrow. As the first game demonstrated, Hamrun Spartans are a worthy opponent whom we respect. But we do not focus on the result of the first match. Yes, it exists, but we need to go onto the field with maximum concentration and play our football. It’s the start of the season; we need to gain our form.
