Chelsea agrees to sign 19-year-old Ajax talent

London’s Chelsea is a step away from signing Ajax central defender Jorrell Gato, reports The Athletic.

According to the source, Chelsea’s bosses have offered 40 million euros for the 19-year-old talent. The Amsterdam team accepted this offer, so Gato will soon head to the London camp for a medical examination.
