Everton head coach David Moyes admitted that his team is not yet ready to compete in the new season of the English Championship.
David Moyes— We are not yet ready to compete at a sufficient level in this tournament. We are not ready to start the season in the Premier League. I am not particularly concerned about the results in the preseason matches, as I do not currently have the players I want to see in my squad. Therefore, I did not have any expectations that we would win all the matches.
Currently, our attacking potential is somewhat limited. We are not creating enough chances. Our play in attack leaves much to be desired,” said David Moyes.
Additionally, in the summer transfer window, Everton signed Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, and Adam Aznu.
