The Kyiv “Dynamo” this summer considered the option of bringing back their former midfielder Benjamin Verbic, reported former journalist Igor Burбас.
Benjamin Verbic“In the summer, Verbic was a free agent. And in this status, he came to the location of ‘Dynamo’ during the training camp in Austria. He was not just visiting; negotiations were indeed held with him, which ultimately were not successful: the parties could not agree, and there were disagreements over the financial aspects,” said Burбас.
Recall that at the beginning of the year, Verbic became a player of the Greek “Levadiakos” as a free agent, signing an agreement until the end of the season. Recently, this club announced the continuation of cooperation with the Slovenian. Verbic played for “Dynamo” from 2018 to 2021 inclusive. With the outbreak of war, the midfielder went on loan to the Polish “Legia,” and in the summer of 2022, he left the Ukrainian club permanently.
