Kryvbas goalkeeper Ihor Omelchenko, who plays for the U-19 team, did not return to Ukraine with the team after the summer training camp. This was reported by former journalist Ihor Burbas.
It is reported that Omelchenko simply disappeared during the camp and is not in contact. The Kryvbas club does not yet understand where the player has gone.
There are also suggestions that Omelchenko is even willing to sacrifice his current contract with Kryvbas and completely end his professional playing career to avoid returning to the club.
It’s worth noting that 19-year-old Omelchenko is the main goalkeeper of Kryvbas’s youth team and has even made it to the match list for several Ukrainian Premier League games. Last season, he played in 25 matches.
