Chelsea defender Levi Colwill underwent surgery after tearing the cruciate ligaments in his knee

Chelsea has officially announced that central defender Levi Colwill underwent surgery after tearing the cruciate ligaments in his knee.

Toward the end of his first training session after the break, Colwill sustained a serious knee injury. The “Blues” press service reported that the 22-year-old footballer was successfully operated on and now faces a rehabilitation process. Given the nature of the injury, the English player will be forced to miss most of the 2025/26 season.

Last season, Colwill played for Chelsea in 35 out of 38 matches in the Premier League.
