Today marks the 55th anniversary of Sergey Bezhenar, a player of Kyiv’s "Dynamo" from 1995 to 1998, who now works as a coach at the Valery Lobanovsky DYUSH "Dynamo". On the occasion of the jubilee, the president of FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) Igor Surkis congratulated the celebrant.

On behalf of our entire Dynamo family and myself personally, I want to congratulate you on your jubilee!
You are a true Dynamo player at heart, a part of our Dynamo family. I regret that you played for our club for a relatively short time; however, you witnessed the formation of the "golden" team that amazed all of football Europe in the late 90s and was one of the best in the world.
But now you have an even more important mission — to find and nurture new talents who can make a name for themselves just as loudly as the legendary team from your playing career. In your time, you have learned and now impart to your charges those principles and skills that will be necessary on their challenging path to the heights of football. The Ukrainian football community respects you and thanks you for the work you are doing in developing our domestic youth football.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, boundless energy and patience, professional growth, and new achievements, and most importantly — a swift end to the war and a peaceful sky above!
Respectfully,
President of FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) Igor Surkis
