“As long as I was a coach, Matt Busby was always a role model for me because I believed that I could rely on young footballers. Busby undoubtedly entered the history of Manchester United.
Matt won the European Cup while playing with the same philosophy, using players that the club had raised. What he did is incredible,” Ferguson said.
Sir Alex Ferguson ended his coaching career in 2013. He has 48 trophies in his collection, 38 of which he won at the helm of Manchester United.
