As reported by the Telegram channel "Bombardir", the winners of the 2025 Football Association Cup and Community Shield lost their appeal in CAS regarding UEFA’s decision to exclude them from the Europa League due to violations of club ownership rules (they have a co-owner with "Lyon", which is also in the Europa League — editor’s note).

The place of the "Eagles" in the Europa League will be taken by "Nottingham Forest", while "Crystal Palace" will have to play instead of the "Foresters" in the Conference League.
