This venue change would mark a historic milestone, as it would be the first instance of a match from one of the top five European leagues being held in the USA.

A recent FIFA approval for conducting national league matches outside the home country revived a similar idea.
For La Liga, hosting an official match in Miami would be a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the US market, where Barcelona has a large fan base.
