The start of the match was shocking for Dynamo players. The players of "Epicenter" converted their very first attack. After a cross from the left flank, Havura hit the post, the ball bounced to Romanyuk, whose shot was saved by Vyacheslav Surkis, but the hosts made a third consecutive shot, this time a successful one. Yuriy Pach was on the rebound, and after his strike ricocheted off a defender, the ball found the net.
Leading the score already after the first minute, the players of "Epicenter" focused on defending their goal, while the Dynamo players seized the initiative and began creating chances near the nominal hosts’ goal. Good chances to score in the first half fell to Pavlo Lyusin, Fedir Zadorozhny, and Kyrylo Tokar.
The second half started similarly — with the initiative of Kyiv’s Dynamo, who eventually achieved their goal and equalized the score in the 54th minute. Lyusin received the ball in the semicircle area in the presence of several opponents, paused, and delivered a sharp penetrating pass into the penalty area to Zadorozhny, who accepted the ball to the right of the goal and accurately shot into the near corner — 1:1.
The "white-blues" gradually increased their pressure on the "Epicenter" goal, whose players retreated into deep defense. The Kyivans created numerous moments near the opponent’s goal, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
