The head coach of Rukh, Ivan Fedyk, commented on the defeat against Obolon (1:2) in the 3rd round of the Ukrainian championship.
Ivan Fedyk"We knew that Obolon defends organized, and the previous two teams that played against them created very little. In this aspect, we didn’t achieve what we wanted. Then we conceded a goal, made adjustments in substitutions — and leveled up a bit.
We conceded a goal, and the game plan changed. We wanted to add aggression in attack — we succeeded in that and scored a goal afterwards. If it were not for the alarm — I am confident that we would have pressed the opponent. The alarm, shall we say, didn’t quite help us. The guys did what they could, but we tried to improve the game with substitutions.
Unfortunately, after the alarm, we also conceded a goal from a set piece. Three set pieces decided the fate of the match," said Fedyk on the air of UPL.TV.
