Barcelona has successfully registered two new players ahead of the season opener. Goalkeeper Joan Garcia and forward Marcus Rashford have been added to the team roster for the match against Mallorca, as confirmed by La Liga’s official website.
Marcus Rashford, Getty ImagesGarcia received the jersey number 13, while Wojciech Szczesny was unable to be included in the squad due to registration issues with his contract. Inaki Pena is listed as the number one goalkeeper and is expected to sign a new contract before being loaned to Como.
27-year-old Rashford joined Barcelona this summer on loan from Manchester United with a buy option. He has also been successfully registered as a player for the blaugranas.
