Zinchenko did not make the Arsenal squad for the opening match of the season

Ukrainian defender of London’s Arsenal, Oleksandr Zinchenko, was not included in his club’s squad for today’s match of the 1st round of the English Championship season 2025/26 against Manchester United (1:0).

As is known, during the summer transfer window, the Gunners tried to finalize the transfer of the Ukrainian, whose contract expires in a year, but ultimately none of the potential transfer options were realized.
