Ukrainian newcomer to French PSG, defender Ilya Zabarnyi, shared his impressions from his debut match with the team against Nantes (1:0) in the first round of the 2025/26 French Championship.

I really enjoyed playing with the ball. I maintained my concentration because the opponent tried to counterattack with a low block — it was a little unusual. But overall, everything went well for me, and I enjoyed today’s match.
And I also loved the fans, they are incredible! They kept singing, it was amazing. It was nice to hear them,” said Zabarnyi, according to the official PSG website.
