Former Shakhtar footballer who fled the club has taken Russian citizenship

Former Shakhtar footballer Alexander Rosputko, who fled the club in 2023, has taken Russian citizenship.

According to the FNL website, Rosputko has become a player for "Chaika" (Peschanokopskoye), which competes in the second division of the Russian championship. It is noted that the footballer has already taken Russian citizenship.

Recall that in 2023, Rosputko fled the team’s location after an away match of Shakhtar U-19 against Antwerp. The player moved from Belgium to Turkey, and then to Russia.
