One of the key strategic directions of the Ukrainian Football Association’s activities is the development of social projects that change society and create opportunities for everyone. The development of soccer on prosthetics (amputee soccer) is one of these projects, as there are over 100,000 people with limb amputations in Ukraine.

The championship will last from August to December and will take place in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Lviv, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk, with the first knockout round happening from August 29 to 31 in Kyiv. The champion will represent Ukraine in the EAFF Champions League (European Football Federation for Persons with Amputation) in 2026.
"We are glad that for the first time in the country, full-fledged nationwide competitions in amputee soccer are starting. I have seen how the guys play, and I want to say that amputee soccer is truly a spectacular and dynamic sport. I was impressed by the speed and technique of the amputee players.
This tournament is an important step for the development of adaptive sports in the country. I wish the teams bright matches, new achievements, and unforgettable emotions!" said the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko.
