The Israeli "Maccabi" from Tel Aviv officially announced the transfer of its leading forward Dor Turgeman today, on the day of the first match against Kyiv "Dynamo" in the playoff round of the Europa League qualifying.

A product of the "Maccabi" youth academy, Turgeman joined the club in 2018 and made his debut at the age of just 17 in August 2020. Turgeman then spent a season on loan at "Beitar Tel Aviv" (Bat Yam), where he scored five goals in 32 matches in all competitions for the second division club. Last season he scored 19 goals and provided eight assists, while "Maccabi" won another championship and cup, as well as participated in the first stage of the Europa League. Turgeman helped "Maccabi" secure another European campaign this season and marked his 120th match with the 33rd goal for the club.
