In Washington, at the White House, there was a presentation meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, which, let us remind you, will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Donald Trump with the World CupFirst of all, Trump announced the date and place for the draw of the final part of the 2026 World Cup: it will take place on December 5 of this year in Washington at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Infantino also presented Trump with a ticket for the final match of the 2026 World Cup.
“Front row, first seat. Ticket number 45/47 (Trump is the 45th and 47th president of the USA, editor’s note.),” Infantino said.
Finally, Trump held the World Cup trophy in his hands and jokingly asked for the possibility of keeping it at the White House.
“Can I keep it? It would look very nice on that wall. It’s a beautiful piece of gold,” Trump said while holding the World Cup trophy.
