News from the camp of the opponent of Kyiv "Dynamo" for the playoff round of the Europa League qualification. Israeli "Maccabi" from Tel Aviv found itself on equal terms with the "white-blues" in terms of preparation time for the return match.
Originally, Maccabi had an away match scheduled for this weekend in the 1st round of the Israeli championship against "Hapoel" (Petah Tikva), but this meeting was postponed in the interests of a participant in the European competitions.
Thus, "Maccabi" and "Dynamo" found themselves on equal footing: the Kyiv team also has no official matches scheduled for this weekend, as there is a break in the Ukrainian championship due to the 1/32 final of the Ukrainian Cup (Dynamo will enter the competition from the next stage). So both teams have a whole week for uninterrupted preparation for the return match.
For reference, the first match between "Dynamo" and "Maccabi" took place last Thursday, August 21, in the Serbian city of Bačka Topola, and ended with a victory for the Israeli team with a score of 3:1. The return match will be held by the opponent next Thursday, August 28, in Lublin.
