President of Kharkiv’s "Metalist 1925" Bohdan Boiko spoke about the team’s goals for the current season.
Bohdan Boiko. Photo — "Metalist 1925"— How satisfied are you with the team’s start to the season? Perhaps you read the predictions before the championship — many see "Metalist 1925" very highly.
— That’s true because the team has really been significantly renewed, a young coaching staff has come in, and there are many newcomers in the team. I believe we need time.
I really like the style of play that Mladen Bartulovic is implementing. This is primarily the kind of game that I would like to see in our team. I believe we need time — and everything will work out for us. We will wait.
— What task have you set for the team?
— I have already given interviews, stating that this season we have not set any specific goals. Of course, we want to secure our position in the UPL and implement our philosophy.
We want to play beautiful attacking football, and I believe we have already begun to see this in the matches against "Kryvbas" (0:2, — note by the editor) and "Alexandria" (4:1, — note by the editor). I think we should continue in this way.
