Kyiv Dynamo graduate Artem Shabanov spoke on Denis Boyko's YouTube channel about the former head coach of the "white-blues," Mircea Lucescu.
Artem Shabanov"There is no resentment towards Lucescu as such, because when he came, he formed the team, and the team was winning almost everything. We made it to the Champions League and won the Ukrainian Championship.
I only have misunderstanding left: when I transferred on loan to ‘Legia’ (in 2021, — ed.) and could have stayed there, he, as they say, told me to return so that I would come to the Dynamo training camp. I came, and then he said: "It would have been better if he had stayed there."
I wanted to stay at ‘Legia,’ and as far as I heard, there was an offer to buy out my contract, but I just had to return to ‘Dynamo.’ Later on, I wanted to go on loan,” said Artem.
It should be added that Shabanov left ‘Dynamo’ in 2022, moving to Hungarian ‘Fehérvár.’ Currently, the player is performing for Kharkiv “Metalist 1925.”
