Mykolenko played for Everton for the first time this season

As previously reported, Ukrainian defender of the English club Everton Vitaliy Mykolenko has recovered from the injury that kept him out of his team’s first two matches of the 2025/26 season (both in the English league).

Yesterday, the 26-year-old footballer played for Everton for the first time this season. Mykolenko was in the starting lineup for the Toffees in the second round match of the English League Cup against Mansfield (2:0) and was substituted in the 87th minute.

Let us remind you that Mykolenko is on the list of players called up to the Ukrainian national team for the September matches of the World Cup 2026 qualifying cycle — against France (September 5) and Azerbaijan (September 9).
