Former Ukrainian national team forward Volodymyr Homenyuk advised Kyiv’s Dynamo to acquire quality football players if the team wants to make an impact on the European stage.
Volodymyr Homenyuk— Almost their entire academy plays there. There are only a few experienced players, among them Yarmolenko and Pihalionok, whom they signed. But mostly, their academy graduates play in all positions.
Which positions need strengthening? All positions need strengthening there. Every line needs a good, quality player of a high level. If they aim to compete in the Champions League, Europa League, then they need to raise the quality of players so that their young talents also grow simultaneously.
When they train with strong players, they will progress much faster. Because they can be said to be training among themselves now, and nothing changes, the picture does not change, and in the Ukrainian championship, this is enough for them. But at a higher level, they just don’t measure up, — said Homenyuk.
