The goal scorer against Maccabi — Dynamo forward Eduardo Guerrero shared his impressions after the playoff match of the Europa League qualification.

— Eduardo, today you started in the match against Maccabi. Share your impressions of the game.
— I think we had the opportunity to go further today, but that is football, sometimes luck is not on our side, so we must continue to move forward.
— You scored an early goal today. How did it affect the team's morale?
— I was really happy to score against my former team — Maccabi Tel Aviv. I am very glad for myself and the team that we did everything we could in today's game. But as I said, it is football, so we must wait and prepare for the Conference League.
— Recently, you scored your first goal for Dynamo in the Ukrainian championship, in a match against Epitsentr. What did that do for you mentally?
— I try to work hard every day and do everything I can in every match to earn a chance and an opportunity to participate in more games.
— Dynamo will play in the UEFA Conference League. How fair is this for the team based on the results of the qualification?
— We must work hard and show good results in the Conference League. It will be a new experience for us, it is also a good, strong tournament, so we have to fight in every match.
— Let’s go back to the past. You joined the training camp in Austria a bit later than the others. How did that affect your preparation for the season?
— Everyone knows that I joined later because I was longer at the national team’s disposal. Of course, it was difficult for me since I joined late, as during the time I was with the Panama national team, I also participated in matches. But we prepared well and are ready for the upcoming challenges, we are focused and looking forward to it.
— What do you expect from this season and what do you see as the main challenges ahead?
— We will be fighting for the championship and the National Cup, as well as wanting to perform well in Europe. But the most important thing is to defend the title of the UPL champion.
— After a long journey, Dynamo is finally returning to Kyiv, and on Sunday they will play a match against Polissya there. Are you excited about it?
— As I said, we are looking forward to it. It’s very sad that we won today, but did not advance further. We deserved to win the confrontation and qualify for the Europa League. But now we are focused on the Conference League and the domestic championship.
