Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has become embroiled in a financial scandal.
Oleksandr ZinchenkoAccording to The Sun, Zinchenko recently lost a court case against the UK tax authority, receiving a fine of £300,000. The reason is unpaid corporate tax from his company, Alex Zinchenko Image Rights, which managed the rights to the footballer’s image and the income derived from them.
It is also known that this company has since been dissolved, and Zinchenko received a separate bill for £35,000 from his former accountants.
British media note that paying this amount will not be a challenge for Zinchenko, as his salary at Arsenal is £150,000 per week.
