The head coach of the Turkish Samsunspor, Thomas Rice, assessed his opponents in the group stage of the Conference League, one of which is Kyiv’s Dynamo.
Thomas Rice“Honestly, we won’t have to play against easy opponents. We have tough matches ahead. One of our opponents is Kyiv’s Dynamo, the champion of Ukraine. Another opponent is Mainz; I am familiar with this team, I know what kind of club it is, what their stadium is like, and what the atmosphere there is like.
It was not easy to achieve the current result. Last year we worked very hard and are proud of what we achieved. We have matches with very strong opponents ahead of us. We want to represent not only Samsun but also all of Turkish football in the best possible way in the tournament. We want to win every match and are looking forward to these encounters,” quotes Rice by Hurriyet.
It should be added that Dynamo will play against Samsunspor as part of the 2nd round of the Conference League group stage. The match will take place on October 23 in Samsun.
