In the squad of the Ukraine national team, which is preparing for the opening matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against France (September 5, Wroclaw) and Azerbaijan (September 9, Baku), there has been a forced substitution.

According to the UAF press service, injured Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has left the team camp. He will be replaced by the goalkeeper of Al-Shabab club from Saudi Arabia, Heorhiy Bushchan.

Recall that it was previously reported that injured defender Oleksandr Tymchyk was replaced by Bohdan Mykhailichenko.
