The youth national team of Ukraine has started focused preparations for the opening match of the Euro 2027 (U-21) qualifying tournament against Lithuania, which will take place on September 5 in the city of Druskininkai at the LSK "Druskininkai Stadium".
Photo: UAFCurrently, our team, after a long journey through Polish Chełm and Warsaw, has arrived by plane in Vilnius, and from there by bus to the city of Marijampolė. Here at the local arena "Sūduva", which is the home of the club of the same name, the players coached by Unai Melgosa are conducting their training sessions.
Let us remind you that 16 teams will compete in the final part of Euro 2027 (U-21): Albania, Serbia, and 14 more teams that will join them based on the results of the qualifiers (nine group winners, the best team among the second-placed teams, and four playoff winners, in which eight second-placed teams will compete).
