Bayern’s sports director Max Eberl may resign, although his contract is valid until 2027, TZ reports.
Maximiliano EberlTensions are rising amid personnel changes in the club’s management following the departure of Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidžić in 2023, as well as the expected exit of CFO Michael Diederich in September.
Last summer, Eberl signed free agents Jonathan Tah and Tom Bishof, but lost key transfer market targets — Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade. He also conducted salary fund cuts by selling several forwards, while the only expensive newcomer was Luis Díaz.
