The UEFA press service has published the composition of the refereeing team that will work at the match of the 1st round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup between the national teams of Ukraine and France.
Danny MakkelieIt is reported that Dutch referees will officiate the match, led by Danny Makkelie. He will be assisted on the lines by Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries. The fourth official will be Allart Lindhout.
The VAR system will also be in operation during the match. The main VAR referee is Dennis Higler, and the assistant VAR referee is Richard Martens. Both referees are also from the Netherlands.
Recall that the match Ukraine — France will take place on Friday, September 5, in Wroclaw. The meeting will start at 21:45 Kyiv time.
