The national team of Ukraine held its first training session during the gathering dedicated to preparing for the starting matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers — against France (September 5, Wrocław) and Azerbaijan (September 9, Baku).
Photo: UAFThe session began under rain, but the weather improved later on. The players under the guidance of Serhiy Rebrov worked in a lighter mode in several groups. Some players focused on recovery exercises, while others participated in gameplay drills.
Today, preparation will continue as planned. Tomorrow, September 4, the blue-and-yellow team will head to Wrocław, where traditional pre-match activities will be held at “Tarczynski Arena Wrocław.” At 18:45 CET, head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov and one of the players will begin communicating with journalists, and at 19:30 CET, a training session at the stadium will start (the first 15 minutes will be open to the media).
