Premier League clubs spent over £3 billion on transfers

This summer, representatives of the English championship spent over £3 billion on transfers, setting their own record.

In total, 20 clubs in the English Premier League acquired players for a sum of £3.087 billion. A year ago, this figure was £1.96 billion.

The biggest spender among Premier League clubs was Liverpool, with £415 million, which also surpassed the previous record of £400 million set by Chelsea in the summer of 2023.
