Monaco central defender Eric Dier expressed his disappointment at being left out of the England squad for the September World Cup 2026 qualifying matches.

Over the last two years, I have played almost every match for Bayern, won the championship and played in the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the Champions League. I felt that I did everything I could to make the squad, but it just didn’t happen,” Dier is quoted by The Telegraph.
