The head coach of the Romanian national team, Mircea Lucescu, commented on his team's defeat in a friendly match against Canada (0:3), mentioning, in particular, goalkeeper Horațiu Moldovan.
Mircea Lucescu— I expected it to be difficult since the guys hadn't seen each other for a long time. But we put our own goal in danger. The first goal was a dirty episode, and then an incredible mistake occurred. A goalkeeper should not allow himself to do that in the central zone. He could have just cleared the ball to the side, but not like that. It was too relaxed.
Overall, I am not disappointed with the performance. Mistakes happen. It won't be like this on Tuesday, — said Lucescu on air at Antena 1, after which he quickly left the flash zone.
