During the break, the coaching staff of the “blue and yellow” made eight substitutions. In the second half, the Ukrainians took the initiative and reduced the deficit in the 59th minute: Oleksandr Kamensky delivered a cross from the right flank, and Ivan Denysov outpaced everyone at the far post.
Despite further activity and created chances in attack, the Ukrainians failed to score even one more goal. Ultimately, the result was a loss with a score of 1:3.
The next match for the “blue and yellow” will be on September 9 against the tournament hosts — Spain (kick-off at 11:00).
