The former head coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, may become the successor to Didier Deschamps in the French national team, reports L’Équipe.
Zinedine Zidane, Getty ImagesThe 53-year-old coach plans to take charge of the national team after the 2026 World Cup. Zidane has already started to closely monitor the French Ligue 1, as well as watching matches involving his future charges around the world.
It should be noted that the 2026 World Cup will be the last for Deschamps at the helm of the national team, which he announced in January of this year.
