The amount of bonuses for the players of the Azerbaijan national football team for the draw in the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Ukraine in Baku (1:1) has been announced.
Azerbaijan national teamAccording to Azerisport.com, it was initially known that for a victory in an official match, starting players would receive 5000 euros each. Players who came on as substitutes would receive 75% of this amount, while the remaining players included in the squad would receive 50%.
The same principle of bonus payment would apply in the case of a draw, but the amount would start from 2500 euros.
However, after the match, the AFFA leadership revised its initial decision — now national team players will receive 5000 euros for a draw with the national team of Ukraine.
