In the 5th round of the Youth Championship of Ukraine (U-19), a capital derby took place — «Dynamo» met «Obolon» away, who had collected 9 points after four rounds and was among the leaders of the tournament standings.

The Dynamo players were seriously focused on the derby, took control of the ball, and scored two quick goals. In the 13th minute, Ponomarenko made a through pass to Arsenii Fedorenkо, who beat the goalkeeper with a one-touch shot from the edge of the penalty area.
And in the 16th minute, Ponomarenko executed a solo run — he dribbled past the defender, burst into the penalty area, rounded the goalkeeper, and then also got past two more defenders who tried to save their team from conceding a goal on the goal line.
At the beginning of the second half, the Kyiv team increased their lead. The Obolon goalkeeper Martynov reacted to a powerful shot from Ponomarenko from close range, the ball bounced to Andrian Bekersky, who beautifully curled it into the top corner of the goal.
In the 56th minute, the home team shortened the score after a corner, following a cross from Sidelnkov, Titov headed the ball into the goal.
However, «Obolon» could not escape the humiliation. In the first minute of added time, following a corner kick from the right flank, Zakarchenko found the net.
And a minute later, the finishing touch in the match was made by Bohdan Redushko, shooting into the top corner from the edge of the penalty area — 5:1 in favor of «Dynamo».
